romance was born pop up shop..

Ive been filling in working at the Romance was Born pop up shop, 2a Oxford st darlinghurst sydney, for the past few weeks before start a new full time design job next week. Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales (lovely bunch!) set it up 3mths ago, and showcases the last SS10/11 collection - 'Renaissance Dinosaur'. They collaboration with talented Melbourne sculpturist/artist Kate Rohde, who not only designed the prints - but also jewellery pieces, and there are some of her amaaaazing sculptures here in the pop up shop also (and available to buy). Come pop in...open until 27th February, 2011 only...and all is currently 50% off!

I'm back.....

OMG it has been WAY too long since been on here. Few reasons. anyway, back on now....
What am i loving at the moment? Well, saw Gypsy & the Cat (band) play last night in Sydney at the Oxford Arts factory. Awesome set. Can't believe how young the boys are , and the fact it's only been about a year since left being dj's to actually write/perform own stuff. Their songs have a very french/disco vibe to them - quite melodic but with good electro beats over the top. They're definitely a band on the rise....
